Weekday Evening Groups

Many churches have found that as well as meeting on a Sunday, people enjoy getting together in smaller groups during the week, when there can be more time to relax and chat things over, discuss everyday issues, and support and pray for one another, as well as social events.

Westbourne Grove Church currently has two local midweek meetings, one in Harlesden and one in the Westbourne Grove area. These meet in the homes of church members.

These meetings are more informal than the larger Sunday meetings, and include a range of activities, both social and devotional.  The meetings are organised so that they are comfortable for visitors who are exploring or uncertain about faith, or who have no experience at all of Christian activities. Because of this we often have visitors who are not believers at these meetings, and it provides an easy opportunity for visitors to ask whatever questions they wish about faith. If enquirers wish to find out more, then the message of the gospel can be explored one to one, or by joining a no pressure enquirers group with others who have not yet reached a decision about faith.
