The organ from Westbourne Grove Church was a fine instrument but had not been used regularly for several decades and did not have a place in the modernised new building. It was offered for reuse and was disassembled and shipped to Rezekne in Latvia, where it will be reinstalled in the Lutheran church. The project will take up to 10 years to complete as a new organ balcony and pipe frame will be constructed to house the pipes, and there is much other restoration to be done in that church following its 40 year disuse prior to 1994.
