Lobby Lunch is a monthly lunch for those of low income and anyone suffering from loneliness or isolation. Meet with frinds and enjoy a free filling meal.

Lunches for people in need
We believe God welcomes everyone, especially those in need, which is why we put on Lobby Lunch on a regular basis.
The Bible talks a lot about hospitality, particularly shared meals, and supporting people in need in society. Early Christians were well known for this and it’s been part of the Christian faith for hundreds of years, which is why do it too!
Most of the food we provide is homemade. It’s a chance to get a free, filling meal, spend time with friends and meet new people.

Who is it for?
You’re very welcome to come along to Lobby Lunch, but it’s particularly for those of low income and anyone suffering from loneliness or isolation.

Find out more or volunteer
We’ve got a great team of volunteers from our church community and others who want to help. They help run Lobby Lunch on the first Saturday of each month (except January and August). Volunteers come between 9am - 1.30 pm - for all or part of the event. You’re welcome to join us too, whether as a cook, being a friendly face on the day, or by making cakes and other yummy goodies.
