Parking and accessibility

All are welcome at The Grove, so we have a lift and disabled access to all areas of the church. There is an induction loop in our main hall for those with hearing disabilities.

There are parking bays at the front of the church on both sides of the road. Saturday parking is also extremely congested, so do consider using public transport.

There are very limited free disabled spaces nearby and please note that the Blue Badge Disabled Parking scheme does not operate on certain roads.

Please see our FAQs below for full details on parking restrictions and disabled spaces.

Here’s a handy contact form in case you want to ask us something specific

Please note, enquiries go to an office inbox, so do not submit private or sensitive information. If the form above doesn’t work, contact us here

  • Please contact reception and ask for the details of the best person to help you.

  • Parking at The Grove can be a bit tricky, but here’s the lowdown to help you!

    1. In front of the church

This bay is operated by the City of Westminster council.

The parking bay is directly in front of the church and operates from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:30pm; and Saturday 8:30am to 1:30pm.

The maximum stay is four hours, after which you must park in a separate block of spaces, rather than move within the same block in front of the church.

You can pay using the Pay by Phone scheme.

Find out more about parking on City of Westminster website.

    2. Opposite the church

This parking is managed by Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (different to above!).

The spaces opposite the church on the other side of Westbourne Grove are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 6:30pm; Saturday, 8:30am - 1.30pm.

You can pay using the Pay by Phone scheme.

Find out more about parking on the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea website.

  • Westminster council may agree to suspend a bay or bays for you, and possibly the bays in front of the church for weddings and funerals without charge.

Find out more on suspended parking bays on the Westminster council website.

  • Blue Badge Disabled Parking

Take care! The scheme does not operate on yellow lines in Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea (see local parking restriction details above).

There are very limited free disabled spaces:

    • One in Pembridge Crescent

    • One in Chepstow Road

    • Several in Bayswater

    More info on disabled parking:

These are in heavy demand and only the Pembridge one is less than half a mile from the church.

Please consider using public transport or plan for normal parking and a pavement journey to the church or arrange for someone to drop you off and park for you.
