When We Meet

_MG_3095

The Church meets as a congregation every Sunday morning to worship, break bread and listen to some teaching.

10.30 am for tea & coffee
10.45 am for the service
12.30 pm service ends

After each service we share a meal of soup and bread and enjoy the opportunity to eat and chat as a church family.  All are welcome to join us.

We also have an evening service twice a month – we gather at 7pm to worship together, reflect on a Bible passage and pray for one another. Check our events calendar below to see when the next evening service is.

We’re currently studying the book of Ephesians.  Our meetings are held at Westbourne Grove Church. If you’d like to join us, please contact Chris on 0207 034 0500 or email chris@westbournegrovechurch.org

Lobby Lunch
Sep 1 @ 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

_MG_2419Hospitality in the form of shared meals, and support for the needy people in society, were hallmarks of the early Christians, and have been features of Christian faith in many different ways over the centuries.

Our monthly lobby lunch, which takes place on the first Saturday of the month, except for January and August, aims to express both these values. It’s a meal, free of charge, to which anyone is welcome, but which particularly attracts homeless people, and people on low incomes. Most of the food we provide is home made.

As well as food, the lunch provides opportunities for friendship, conversation, a chance to be listened to and supported. All are welcome.

11.30 am doors open until 1.30 pm

Bring Your Own: Evening Worship
Sep 9 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

The idea behind “Bring Your Own” is that everyone has something to contribute to our community.
Come as you are, and bring your thoughts, opinions, ideas and dreams.

Our BYO evening worship is open to anyone who’d like to come, Christian or not. We’ll spend some time worshipping God and praying together, as well as hearing a short reflection on a Bible passage or topic.
You’re very welcome to join this informal gathering – the church will be open from 6:45pm for tea and coffee before the service.
