When We Meet

_MG_3095

The Church meets as a congregation every Sunday morning to worship, break bread and listen to some teaching.

10.30 am for tea & coffee
10.45 am for the service
12.30 pm service ends

After each service we share a meal of soup and bread and enjoy the opportunity to eat and chat as a church family.  All are welcome to join us.

We also have an evening service twice a month – we gather at 7pm to worship together, reflect on a Bible passage and pray for one another. Check our events calendar below to see when the next evening service is.

Prayer meeting
Feb 1 @ 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm

A group of church members meets together twice a month to pray for our church and our world, as well as for people who have requested prayer. If you have anything you would like us to pray for, please contact Chris or Hannah on 0207 034 0500 or email chris@westbournegrovechurch.org.

Our prayer meeting is held at a church members’ house; we meet at Westbourne Grove Church at 12:30pm before travelling over together. If you would like to join us for a prayer meeting, please contact Chris on the above number.

Bible Group
Feb 1 @ 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Our Bible group is a small gathering – we meet to study the Bible or a Christian book together, learning more about God, His Word and the life He has designed for us. Our home group is a discussion rather than a sermon, as we recognise that God speaks through all of us and that we can all learn from one another.

Our meetings are held at Westbourne Grove Church. If you’d like to join us, please contact Chris on 0207 034 0500 or email chris@westbournegrovechurch.org

Lobby Lunch
Feb 2 @ 11:30 am – 1:30 pm

_MG_2419Hospitality in the form of shared meals, and support for the needy people in society, were hallmarks of the early Christians, and have been features of Christian faith in many different ways over the centuries.

Our monthly lobby lunch, which takes place on the first Saturday of the month, except for January and August, aims to express both these values. It’s a meal, free of charge, to which anyone is welcome, but which particularly attracts homeless people, and people on low incomes. Most of the food we provide is home made.

As well as food, the lunch provides opportunities for friendship, conversation, a chance to be listened to and supported. All are welcome.

Doors open at 11.30 am; food and drinks served until 1.30 pm
