When We Meet

The Church meets as a congregation every Sunday morning to worship, break bread and listen to some teaching.

10.30 am for tea & coffee
10.45 am for the service
12.30 pm service ends

After each service we share a meal of soup and bread and enjoy the opportunity to eat and chat as a church family.  All are welcome to join us.

We also have an evening service twice a month – we gather at 7pm to worship together, reflect on a Bible passage and pray for one another. Check our events calendar below to see when the next evening service is.

English Language Bible Study
Oct 25 @ 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm

Our English language Bible study is for EAL students  wanting to know more about what the Bible says and what Christians believe. We study a short section of the Bible together in simple English, ask questions and talk together about what it teaches us.

Our Bible study is free to attend and open to all backgrounds and levels. Bring your lunch with you – we’ll provide free tea and coffee.

For more information, contact Hannah on 0207 034 0500 or hannah@westbournegrovechurch.org

Westbourne Grove Church’s English Conversation Café welcomes anyone wanting to practice and improve their understanding of the English language, in a fun and encouraging environment. The café leader is a TEFL qualified teacher, and the assistants are native English speakers.
The café is open to all abilities and costs £1 a visit.

Prayer meeting
Oct 26 @ 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm

A group of church members meets together twice a month to pray for our church and our world, as well as for people who have requested prayer. If you have anything you would like us to pray for, please contact Chris or Hannah on 0207 034 0500 or email chris@westbournegrovechurch.org.

Our prayer meeting is held at a church members’ house; we meet at Westbourne Grove Church at 12:30pm before travelling over together. If you would like to join us for a prayer meeting, please contact Chris on the above number.

Bible Group
Oct 26 @ 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm

Our Bible group is a small gathering – we meet to study the Bible or a Christian book together, learning more about God, His Word and the life He has designed for us. Our home group is a discussion rather than a sermon, as we recognise that God speaks through all of us and that we can all learn from one another.

Our meetings are held at Westbourne Grove Church. If you’d like to join us, please contact Chris on 0207 034 0500 or email chris@westbournegrovechurch.org

Bring Your Own: Evening Worship
Oct 28 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

The idea behind “Bring Your Own” is that everyone has something to contribute to our community.
Come as you are, and bring your thoughts, opinions, ideas and dreams.

Our BYO evening worship is an informal, unrehearsed time of worship and prayer – we bring our praise, questions and requests to God, and ask Him to meet with and speak to us. Everyone is welcome; bring an instrument if you’d like to join in with the music.
The church will be open from 6:45pm for tea and coffee before we start at 7pm.
