Mel Lloyd

Mel Lloyd is an accomplished artist whose practice spans both canvas and sculptural ceramics. Her work is vibrant, lively, and infused with energy and colour, reflecting a dynamic and joyful creative spirit. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions and has also presented several solo shows.

An avid traveller, Mel draws inspiration from her global experiences, particularly from her time working with children in Africa — an influence that continues to shape the emotional depth and narrative richness of her art. When at home, she creates from her studio based in Deptford, South London.

Mel completed her BA in Visual Arts at Camberwell College of Arts (1997–2000), followed by an MA in Fine Art at Middlesex University (2000–2002), establishing a strong academic foundation for her evolving and multidisciplinary practice.
