Zion

These two poems explore the legacy of Jesus as we live between his first and second coming. 'Love letters' is a response to thepower of the resurrection in daily life, and 'The day that never ends' attempts to capture Jesus's return in language that can be seen and felt. Zion seeks to pull hope from the unexpected beauty in both of these events. Originally from America, Zion (real name Kaity Cornellier) has been in London for nearly a decade. Her poet name is inspired by Lamentations 3, a story of destruction and God's restoration, where much of her poetry flows from. She loves her East London community, and moments by forests or rivers that remind her of home.
